Don't worry. Sometimes TC removes his law knowledge and thinks like a
person at Mbwandilo.

Can you imagine him saying people turn 18 everyday and shouldn't be denied
vote.

Yes. A by-election is not a planned occurrence. We can spend 5 years with
no MP or Councillor dying or being convicted. No one who turns 18 can
complain that they can't wait until next election to vote.

Even the illegal registration being done now will exclude people who turn
18. Registration closes maybe 4 weeks before elections to allow compilation
of voters roll and printing of ballots. What happens to those born after
registration closes and time boting is done?

Right to vote is not absolute and a person can decide not to vote. A person
can also be denied the right to vote for various reasons.

TC's thinking will make us register people while voting is in progress. Or
that we should have elections everyday because people turn 18 every day.
Very absurd indeed.
