I would like to bring to your attention the following draft Type approval Regulations from 
MACRA  that seem not to have been copied to all MISPA members.

I would like to observe that the terms "electronic communications network" and 
"electronic communications services" used to define "electronic equipment" in in Section 2 
of these regulations does cover "equipment" used by ISPs and other operators as defined 
in Section 3 of the Malawi Communications Act of 2016.

These regulations hence have significant bearings on members of MISPA.

It is for this reason that I would like to request you to carefull review these regulations and 
make your representations to MACRA as you see fit, as invited in the e-mail from MACRA 
copied here below.

Please let other MISPA members know of your observations through this mailing list.
