MMC,
I would like to propose to postpone the MMC meeting scheduled for tomorrow
so that we can gather enough documents for the meeting especially on
arrangements for visa, quotations for holding the workshop including
instructor visa, instructor air ticket, instructor accommodation,
refreshments and lunch, pads, adverts, etc
I would like to thank Tayamika Jumbe for visiting the Immigration Dept in
Blantyre to assit tpo follow-up on this visa issue. I have now talked to Mrs
Mtande who has then sent us a letter authorising MISPA to make payment for
the visa letters, I have paid as here attached and I am just waiting for the
visa letters which Mrs Mtande has confirmed will be issued tomorrow.
Hopefully MISPA will refund the cash to me.
Once we have these quotations and documents then we can hopefully use the
MMC meeting to finalise the IPv6 Workshop arrangements and schedule the
payments hopefully to be finalised before the end of next week.
I would hence like to recommend that we hold the MMC Meeting on Tuesday 3
Sepetmber from 2pm at the usual venue at College of Medicine ICT Boardroom.
Please confirm if this is ok with you and let me know if there is anything
else that needs to be done.
