[Mispa-management-l] (Fwd) Host an AFRINIC IPv6 and INRM Training Workshop in Your Country for 2019 - [AFRINIC-Announce]

MISPA,

I would like to recommend that MISPA hosts one of these AFRINIC IPv6 training workshops
in 2019.

We did host one of these about 5 years ago when MISPA applied for and was allocared our
IPv6 address block for the MIX: 2001:43f8:0380::/48 which you can check by running a
WHOIS query such as on any UNIX/LINUX command line ... I hope :-)

Does anyone have any objections to us filing a request to AFRINIC from MISPA ?

In the 2017-2018 period, we were able to train over 700 engineers and managers in
workshops held in 21 countries in Africa. This was with the support of various stakeholders in
the AFRINIC Community. These trainings covered the knowledge and skills of Internet
Number Resources Management (INRM) and IPv6 Planning and Deployment.

This is a call to interested parties in the AFRINIC service region to host AFRINIC IPv6 and
INRM Training Workshops in  2019.
