I mentioned the example of women and tennis at Chanco. Josephine Chisani and Wezi Moghogho used to come and play. It didn't matter to them that all the players were men. What mattered to them was that they wanted to play tennis. Look at Margaret Thatcher, she used to be the only estrogen amongst so much testosterone. It never phased her because she knew what she was there for. If women come on this forum to talk, more power to them but if they come here with conditions that men on the forum should change their tone to accommodate them, then tough toe nails because they are infringing upon somebody else's right to free speech. Nobody should be so flimsy that they should take their marbles and go home just because they keep on losing the game.

Trevor is blaming for pseudo for the departure of women from the forum. In his mind he thinks of women as so weak such that the mere mention of a pseudo scares women to leave the forum. Trevor is looking for a cheap solution here. He is too sexist to remain on the forum. Women should be brave enough to even call a scrotum a scrotum, an eye is an eye, a spade a spade. I think it neefs more data to discover why women dont want to be on the gorum. I was didsappointed none spoke in defence of seodi white after her firing. I think the issue of women non participating is very complex.

Kpd blame it on moderators that there is no 51% representation of women on the forum. Maybe legislation should be made to enforce this.

Now that Nini is gone we have only 2 women. No single woman vigorously contributed to the gender equality discourse. It was all men. Men want to campaign for women empowerment when they are unable to change the environment that cultural practices that stifle women emancipation.
The wise gurus will come up with legislation. They will say we  need an act that should make membership to any discussion group 60:40.
The question is, where are the women? No application is required to be a member of a discussion group and the few we have want to unsubscribe.
This has been my argument all along. Having an act of parliament without analysing or changing certain norms and beliefs is a waste of time.
