[civsoc-mw] Suspension of Registration of New Voters in Mangochi North East

You are right comrade. Actually the Supreme Court already gave guidance on
this. The court stopped the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) from
conducting a fresh registration exercise for the Fresh Presidential
Elections (FPE). The arguement was that the FPE were only for those people
who registered for the 2019 tripartite elections. These voters, the court
continued, were the ones that were 'injured,' and not the newly registered
voters. I believe the same arguement still holds for the by-elections that
will be held in the country.
