AM,

Interesting that the part you quote is directed at prospective students so
that University 199 should sue to not getting students.

The majority of the university in the top 50 are from South Africa. These
include newly established universities.

I believe one can easily find their research and publication output. And
that should be measured in terms of quality. How many of the research
findings make an impact on humanity?

Without even looking at that ranking, the throttling of Academic research
in UNIMA has a long history. Way back in the 70's, researchers and free
thinkers at UNIMA were considered as rebels.

Then came the Kabwila\Chinsinga\Bingu\Peter Mutharika saga. Funny that
'Prof' Bingu was president and Prof Peter Mutharika was Minister of
Education when UNIMA went into its longest prolonged closure in the fight
for academic freedom. UNIMA calendar was messed up and the 2 "Proffesors"
never gave a hoot.

So Prof, that ranking aside, is UÑIMA up there with the best in SADC or the
continent?
