Colleeagues,The past twoweeks, concerned Malawians submitted Petitions to the Ministry of CivicEducation and National Unity and the Parliament to demand the use of indigenouslanguage (s) in Parliament to compliment English and officially recogniseindigenous languages spoken in Malawi as national languages.

Against this background, theLost History Foundation (LHF) has organized a series of cultural conversationsto provide a space for intellectual inputs to the key issues raised in thePetitions.

These Series will runvirtually from the 13-19 October 2020 for 90 minutes commencing at 6 PM (MalawiTime) every day.

Series No 1 on Tuesday the13th of October 2020 at *6 PM* features two Ngoni Historians Rodney Tingokanyamaand Gift Thabethe who will deliver a presentation on the Ngoni perspectives onthe Petitions.
