[civsoc-mw] Determined results: Mzimba

['SANGWANI MWAFULIRWA' via MEC Updates]

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Commission has determined on the results for Mzimba.
In mzimba the Commission also examined a total of 709 Electoral Complaints Logbooks, of which 561 were blank and did not have any recorded complaints. A total of 148 logbooks contained some records. All complaints recorded were resolved at the Polling Station by the Presiding Officers and no complaint has been referred to the Commission for determination as an appeal.
In Mzimba the Commission has examined a total of 1,717 null and void votes. The Commission has confirmed 1,677 as null and void, has corrected 40 votes which have which have been spread as follows:   
   - Lazarus Chakwera of MCP: 38 votes
   - Arthur Peter Mutharika of DPP: 2 votes
