This idea of giving Zimbabweans or any commonwealth citizen a vote in the
British general election is bad. When Zimbabweans were voting in their
country for the crocodile, I remember one south african who lamented why
zimbabweans were NOT crossing the border to vote. I guess most of them have
the tribal bug of shona. Thus while they may not like the economic
situation in their country, they are assuaged by the fact that their fellow
shona is the one oppressing them. While I pity with them, i feel most of
the "wounds" are self inflicted.
I will urge the british government to strike zimbabweans off the voters
roll.
