i bet the real reason you're sulking is because the US seems to have been pipped to the post by the two excellent english universities.


you'd have been more comfortable had the status quo (harvard and princeton leading the pack) not been disturbed.


before you start casting aspersions on the source, the times has been in the business of rankings long before you could say the alphabet.

These rankings change depending on whether the rating organization/newspaper is European, Chinese or American.

Different organizations use different matrix.
