Article 19  is a very formidable, powerful and very credible British human rights organisation. I have followed their publications for quite sometime. Malawi is on record for repressive and disinformative  dissemination of of public media manipulated information of the worst kind.

Malawi is singled out for such murder and supression of truth.

I am just short of words.

In one of their publications: "Who Wants To Forget", Article 19 ssys "Malawi has one of the most elaborate systems of formal censorship in Africa"......

Mzee.

see too what Cambridge Analytica did in Kenya, or claim to have done – its in the Channel4 TV special (episode 1) this week.

Article 19 did a study of the 1999 election in Malawi and we found a vibrant disinformation campaign, and reported on it there = http://www.refworld.org/pdfid/4753d3c40.pdf = that was pre-IT data manipulation but used the press/state controlled media.

Be prepared for 2019.
