I had a call from AFRINIC again this afternoon trying to find new dates for the IPv6
Workshop.

The new suggestion is to have the 4-day workshop in the week of 9-13 September 2019.

Could you please assist to evaluate those dates.

I need to send AFRINIC a confirmation by next Monday morning.

Thank you for accepting our application to host an IPv6 Deployment Workshop in Malawi. I
can confirm that our offer from Malawi ISP Association (MISPA) still stands with these
commitments.

After consultations here at MISPA it has been observed that there will be national
presidential, parliamentary and council - tripartite - elections on 21 May 2019, see:

While MISPA may be available to host the workshop, it has been observed that it will be very
difficult for participants within Malawi to travel and come to the workshop for these dates and
hence participation may be very low if any at all.

We would therefore like to request for a revision on the dates of the workshop.
