Positive response on this AFRINIC IPv6 workshop has been expressed by:
1. Malswitch 2. Access 3.CoM 4. Simbanet
5. MTL 6. Globe Internet 7. TNM 8. C3
9. Airtel 10. Skyband
which at 10 is more than I required to submit a request to AFRINIC for MISPA to host
such a workshop. I have therefore completed a request to AFRINIC for MISPA to host a
training workshop on IPv6 for engineers. I expect AFRINIC to accept our request.
I propose that we hold the workshop at College of Medicine as we have done in the past.
However, others have mentioned that we could hold this at Nkopola Lodge or such like
Lakeside venue to include a bit of fun.
Following your expression of interest as listed above, what would you prefer as a venue,
Blantyre or Lakeshore?
Please note that participants to the workshope will have to meet their own travel,
accommodation and subsistence. In addition MISPA will need to raise money from
participants to meet venue requirements and expenses.
Regards,
Paulos
