We are now able to ping the route server and BGP has been established.

Certainly the route server interface is up, I can ping it remotely from SDNP
as you can see here below.
In addition the route server can ping other interfaces as shown here below
for a few peers.
Please have a look at the route server config that I sent you to check if
there is any other reason that you cannot ping the route server as well as
why the route server cannot ping your router and let me know what you find.
I would like to copy this stream to other MIX peers so that they can follow
what we are doing in bringing up Simbanet peering at the MIX, do you have
any objection?
