No pomp. But you guys copy the Anglo-Saxon type of graduation. A gown in scorching heat: thukutha ku mkhwapa plus nyekhwe. Speeches and speeches: nonsense!
The whole village comes to the graduation ceremony as if the graduate is some visionary of some kind. 
Such traditions are simply difficult to sustain in these COVID-19 times.
