When the president acknowledged that he did not do well with gender representation (unless he was saying that for the sake of deflecting criticism), in the cabinet appointments barely three months ago, one does not need advisers to be reminded that this is a key area to consider even when one does read the whole list. 

A less than 5 minutes skim through of the list reveals the glare. There is a gender analysis that is circulating that shows the situation is actually pretty bad. The number do not lie. How does one justify zero per cent on certain boards, and this was approved?
