When he was coming from the state house in Zomba, Chakuamba would stop at Kandodo. As kids, we loved watching his Citroen drop to a lower level long after he had got out of it.  Upon coming back and starting the engine, the Citroen would start rising to a higher level

sidney somanje on the other hand had a weakness for jaguars. wherever he was posted as chairman, starting with mdc, he demanded that he be bought the latest jaguar. not to be outdone, jzu entered the fray and soon became the proud owner of a mustang, imported all the way from the US, and the first in malawi.
