[civsoc-mw] Women demo on equality.

You raise a very good and pertinent point, Dr. Chimbiri; but what you
forgot to mention in your posting is that you guys (I mean WOMEN) have a
lot of catching up to do with us men. I hope Bambo Trevor and Justice
Fipamutima will not come at me with their guns blazing because I am
unrepentantly displaying characteristics of a hardcore male chauvinist and
an insensitive caveman. Trust me Agness, I am not. See, there are many
female professionals out there who should have been elected into those
boards, women with vast experience in their respective fields of
specialization and stellar academic qualifications, to boot. But what some
of us are saying is that we should not just appoint women into those boards
because they happen to be an "Emma Kaliya", if you know what I mean. And
then we have Justice Fipamutima, whom I respect a lot for he is a very
principled man, making very strange suggestions that men should give up
their positions in the Boards so women can fill the deserted posts. Really?
Tell me, which greedy Malawian man does that? I bet you my right arm,
Agness.

>From the little I know, networking either at Bwandilo or Limbe Country Club
has nothing to do with these appointments. Again, ndangodutsamo munthune!

CWG.
