Prof,There are other causes. A few weeks back we were talking about prostate cancer. Theoretically, every man is supposed to get prostate cancer if they live long enough. Practically most men don't get it because they don't live long enough. It is like those who are born alcoholics but never lived long enough to drink. They will never know that they were alcoholics.

Well, SN, that’s a new one on me. Every one I  know who has preceded us with cirrhosis hasn’t lived long enough to confirm your point. Many years ago it was ground nuts which were the culprit surpassing booze. Any thing you put in your mouth can kill you sooner or later.
