[Civsoc-mw] Gynecomastia

Arise? This is something that I often discourage others from saying if
there has not been any baseline data. But it makes for exciting newspaper
and conversation points. I doubt we know how common this problem is, or
was. While we can do something about now, we do not know how things were in
the past/ and so the question of increasing becomes illusive.
That said, more people are being reported or are reporting:
. could be that people are coming out when they see these things
. more people are getting older
.more people are living long on HIV medicines
. the health sector, though still in problems, is getting better with these
things
. we are 17 million now, so in absolute numbers, we may be having more
people
. the opening up of social and other media avenues

Just imagine in 1976 and a reporter spread the word that "men were growing
breast"? Chilobweeeeeeee
