The title poem, The Death of an Idea by Ken Lipenga was discussed in a Chancellor College Writers Workshop sitting in the Senior Common room in November, 1974. The moderator was Mupa Shumba and amongst those in attendance were Dr Adrian Rosco, Prof Swanzie Agnew, Prof Klingelhoffer, Anthony Nazombe, Leonard Chiza Nkosi, Zondiwe Mbano, Janet Mbekeyani-Karim, Godfrey Kamtsemo.
