*VACANCY: POST-DOCTORAL KNOWLEDGE TRANSLATION SCIENTIST*

*Background*

This Lilongwe office-based role entails conducting policy analyses,
knowledge translation and implementation research for health research
programmes, including African Research Collaboration on Sepsis (ARCS). The
employee will provide leadership and mentorship in designing, managing and
implementing the policy components of health research programmes, including
knowledge translation, capacity building in evidenced-informed
decision-making and policy engagement at regional, national, and
sub-national levels across Africa. The candidates should have a recent PhD
in one of the following: Public Health, Global Health, Demography, Medical
Sociology, or other Social Sciences, with a major in public health as well
as relevant experience working within a health research
department/programme or experience in health policy. They should also have
strong qualitative and quantitative research skills; working knowledge of
French language; and experience in policy engagement.
