*Title of Presentation:  Enhancing the supervision of Nurse Tutors on
Teaching Practice with WhatsApp Mobile Messaging: A Case Study from Ibadan,
Nigeria.*

*Biography*

Professor Ademola Johnson Ajuwon has a Bsc  Sociology, MPH and PhD (Health
Promotion and Education) His areas of research interests are adolescent
reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention, social media and research
ethics.   Professor Ajuwon has published over sixty five scientific papers
in peer review journals.  Professor Ajuwon is a recipient of many research
grants from agencies including the Fogarty International Center; Office of
the Global AIDS Control; British Council; the *United Nations funds for
Women; the *WHO; Wellcome Trust; and Population Media Center. He has
consulted for many international and local organizations namely USAID;
International HIV/AIDS Alliance; UNICEF; World Bank; Shell Petroleum
Development Company; Population Council; Association for Reproductive and
Family Health; Nigeria Business Coalition Against AIDS; Family Health
International; and Youth Empowerment Foundation. He has successfully
supervised over 150 MPH dissertations and four PhD theses. His current
research, funded by the *Swiss Program for Research on Global Issues in
Development**,* is investigating the role of social media in connecting,
empowering and educating students and alumni of selected nursing
institutions in Nigeria. Professor Ajuwon has served as *Sub-Dean*,
Postgraduate, Faculty of Public Health from 2004-2008; *Head* of Department
of Health Promotion & Education from 2010-2012; *Dean,* Faculty of Public
Health from 2012-2014; and *Deputy Provost* College of Medicine, University
of Ibadan, from 2014-2016.
