[10/28, 4:51 AM] ‪+263 71 345 0001‬: Point of correction general namwali can not take up arms and fight, he is retired and he is past his service even on reserve list he is no longer there and can not fight. The fact is when you retire from the army you are transfered to reserve side and any person is eligible to be on reserve for a period of five(5) years only. And if he wish to tell us the truth he can still go ahead as the information regarding to this war is declassified its no longer classified. Ndikunenana I know this quite alright as I have served MDF as Company commander.

They had lethal weapons that at that time Malawi Defence Force lacked.

The two and half hours period was because Banda requested back up from Ian Smith.

The air back up from Rhodesia makes credible the duration of the war. It was Salisbury that killed Yatuta and coleague. 

The number of combatants may not be small. I know and I even said it before that well trained few soldiers,  equipped with weaponry that breathe fire, and right logistics can invade a place and take out their intended subject prisoner and leave the place.

How many Israelis landed at Entebe airport and rescued their nationals while Idi Amin Dada was asleep? Their operation lasted 90 minutes.

MDF and Dr.Banda lied about casualties for political and military reasons. They had to be seen strong. Not weak to scare others from taking a similar mission. The government did not want to lose face and make the local people look at Yatuta as a hero. 

I want to believe that if it was not for Israel and CIA and Apertheid South Africa Dr. Banda could not have lasted that long.
