Obama did the same in 2011. In fact he made it for 180 days. Obama covered 7 states, Trump covers one state. The is 7 popularised by the media are not in the EO by DT. The 7 are taken from a law by Congress, effective last year assented to by Obama. They do not emanate from the EO by the DT. In fact, DT has not banned migration to the US. The EO by DT maintains the number at 50, 000, per annum! BO never exceeded this limit in the past 5 years. What the media has done is to make sure that we do not hear or see the EO. In fact, they EO does not cover those with visas or passports or the green card. Actually the EO gives discretion to Immigration to allow entry for those in the areas covered by BO legislation. Check the facts

But Britain has a stolid invisible war. Is it not true that thousands were piled in French camps failing to go to Britain. In fact, there are many walls in Europe built against Libyans, Moroccans, Asians trying to get into Europe! Is Brexit not more about EU member states streaming more into the United Kingdom. The point is that conservatives are conservatives on immigration! Europe and the United States are victims of their history. One would have thought that because China is now a burgeoning economy, it should have the worst immigration problem. It does not. Immigration is a real problem in the US. all governments have to deal with it.
