Dear ACE leaders,

Most of you are already aware of the Regional Scholarship and Innovation
Fund (RSIF) being implemented under the Partnership for skills in the
Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology (PASET) Initiative (RSIF
factsheet is attached). As conveyed to you at the recent ACE workshop, the
initial host institutions are being selected from the ACEs.

PASET together with the Association of African Universities (AAU) is
looking for a talented, committed and energetic professional to serve as
Project Administrator for the RSIF which is in its first year of
operations. The RSIF is an initiative which aims to create, through PhD
training, a critical mass of highly skilled African scientists and
innovators in Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology (ASET) fields in
priority economic sectors. Please inform your networks and If you know of
any good candidates that fit the terms of reference (

encourage them to apply. The deadline is January 15, 2017!

If selected, the candidate will act as the primary liaison for the RSIF,
engaging closely with key stakeholders including government officials,
students and RSIF host and partner universities within the region and
globally.  S/he will serve as a key figure in a far-reaching effort to
advance the socio-economic transformation of sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).The
selected candidate will be based at the Association of African Universities
in Accra, Ghana.
